November, before and after Thanksgiving...

Due to an unfortunate spill on the gravel (hopefully it won't scar) the head/hair pieces with the costumes were a no-go except the hood for the dog costume (not sure if she is Izzie or Nettie or one of their siblings).

New Friends- We had dinner with some new friends and their 2 kids Kierra and Raleigh... well as you can see we had so much fun and CATE HAD HER FIRST REAL KISS (tongue and all) oops- at least she did not like it and pushed him afterward... Dadda was proud!

Since we have so many apple trees, I decided to try my hand at making applesauce. Here they are cooking and it turned out so YUMMY! I am getting good at this gardening and making food from what we grow!

Fall into 2010

We love to take Cate out to hike on the Parkway now that she is able to explore on her own! SHE LOVES to chase the butterflies that seem to be everywhere we go! Here we are out at the Lump which is about 20 minutes from our house. It was a beautiful day and we had a great time with Cate.

We grew these pumpkins/gourds and harvested them to decorate the house- they are the perfect Cate size pumpkins! (Cate pulled the tops off of the majority of them carrying them around- SHE LOVES THEM)
