The homefront!
the rolling cart is our moving tool holder at the moment (it is being rolled into the basement)
MY GARDEN IN FULL BLOOM! I never thought that I would be able to produce so much and it is really so enjoyable to have (this little spot is about all I can handle). I am happy that we will have peas, broccoli, peppers, cuc's and squash. I planted a few of Christy's mystery plants and we will find out what they are soon (I am thinking that they are pumpkins but we will soon see)!

eating with her fork
Cate decided that she was going to start feeding herself today and she won't let anyone else feed her. She is finally starting to repeat the sounds of the animals that we have been reading. She now has a vocabulary of about 15 words and it's growing more and more each day; we love to see her change daily! I am so happy to be on break and look forward to a trip to the Outer Banks to camp and then onto Ocracoke Island for a night. We will end in Myrtle for Cate's birthday. I am excited that there will be friends from NC visiting that will be able to come to the party.

My Garden Is Blooming!
These are called Salomon's Seal... we think we'll keep them (they're considered a weed)
