My mom came to visit while Dustin went to training for a week in the Great Smokey's. Cate spent to week home with her and we played and loved her company! We did a little rearranging too! Here are a few pictures of what Cate's room looks like now! All done... for now.

2 weeks ago we got iced in with Christy and Elan. It was great to have them here (it always is) but being trapped on one side of a river is better when you have company! Here are a few pictures of the weekend with the ladies!

The battle of the food!

Once Cate hit the 7 month mark, she finally began eating... she is still not so sure about it. Sometimes I think she wants it and she fights it, then she munches it all up. So, when she fights do I persist and keep trying or do I let her not eat? The debate/battle continues in our household! To eat or not to eat, that continues to be the question!

Cate's First Christmas 2009

We still had Christmas afternoon with theDoane side of the family who braved the wintery weather to make it over to our house for 3 hours of delight! We were so happy that they were here to help us pack and clean up before we left the house for a week.

Next time my father WILL listen to mom when she says, " No Ray, don't try and drive over the bridge during an ice storm without 4 wheel drive!"
