Summer is a few days away!

We have no idea where this month went! Dustin seems to think that we have only been married a year (so this year has also flown). Cate will be a year next month, I am out of school on the 4th, our 2 year anniversary is the 7th and Dustin has another trainee! May flew by with many visitors, a trip and a whole bunch of floors. Here is Dustin laying the first KEY piece to the whole upstairs! Over all I think that he did an AMAZING job. The upstairs is getting the trim this week- a new window and the backsplash in the kitchen and then we should be done, except for a few minor touch ups and some new furniture (well we may never really be done)!

April showers bring May flowers...

It has been way too long since I have posted anything but with my house in disarray, I haven't been able to get to my computer. We finally have the walls up, the heat/air installed, the garden going, the walls painted a milk chocolate, ceiling painted, and the floors are level. Now we just need to put in the floors and we should be good to go upstairs!

Then our next project will be to finish the rest of the basement and we will have an additional 700sq ft or so! With all of this going on we have had a lot of company and still more to come this week! We are loving it, oh and I only have 20 days left till summer break!!!! YEAH!!! I can't wait to spend time with my almost 1 year old! I can't believe how fast time goes, but we are enjoying every minute of our doll!
