So after a wonderful Christmas Eve, Dustin and I woke to the sound of the heat clicking off at 7:15 am Christmas morning. We were surprised to hear the sound of what we thought were gun shots off in the distance... soon we found out that it was the sound of limbs and trees breaking all around our house! We got hit with an ice storm that has covered the already snow covered land and created an ice world! Unfortunately for us we had found out that the electric pole holding our power box had broke and we wouldn't have power for days so we had to make a quick dash over the bridge (before that flooded) and headed to NY a fewdays early!
